Here is a close-up of the operation. As you can see, the road will start at the Napo River, cross the Park boundary at the Tiputini River, and enter the Park to access two drilling platforms and a processing facility.

It is important to note that as soon as the road crosses the Park boundary, it is within ancestral Huaorani territory as well. This will be the first major incursion into Huaorani territory since the Maxus Road.
